EVERYONEEEEEEE!: THANKS FOR TAAGGGING!:D

I'M QUITE OLD ALREADY!

1 and a half month of adapting to JC was really tough. As I finally came out from the water in the Olympic-sized swimming pool, grasping for breath, I'm beginning to think back what had actually happened in the water. Mind-swirling experience. Ohman! I'm really not a Lit student!

Haha! However, all in all, JC has been rather fun! I got to know new friends and really old friends, back in primary school, my HOGC friends and even SLC friends!

Let me update about my life:
The orientation on the 1st week was not too bad! At least I like the tshirts! &can I tell you something? Math is really really really difficult! Thousand times worse than A math! I'm taking PCME, H1 Chem, so in a way I have some breathing space.

&Yes I got into dance!
Something exciting: We are having a dance jacket! Woooo!

I've signned up for NYAA Gold award! & I'm thinking of having sailing as my recreation sports component!

Orchid Park is having it's 10th anniversary in 2 weeks and I'm going to perform! Heard that the ex students who are coming have to pay $10 for the dinner. It's going to be an amazing night!

For now, I'm really gonna recharge myself for next term. CA's coming up, and my poly friends are still slacking.

Well, FOR NOW(:

Elysia: YEAH! Thanks! Ha, looked just like mine!(:
Sheereen(: : Hahahahaha! I was alright! Thoughts brewed when I'm tired. No worries! Whoa, I'm sure you will be going YJC! We'll be schoolmates again!((:
JIAEN (: : HELLO! Whoever came out with that is awesomely creative! :D

WHOA!~

I was out with Elysia, Aixin, Waiwan and Raymond for a mini 4S1 gathering. It was almost cancelled but thank goodness I managed to bring it back. We head our way down to Vivo city for a movie, Inkheart. The movie was great, but I had to struggle the fact that I was sitting on the second row in the theatre. Other than that, I like it a lot(:

After the movie, we went to chill at the skypark. I saw something amazing happened. The black dummy hanging to the pull up, which I always thought it was a display, MOVES! My goodness, that thing did many stuns that actually stunned me! Hahaha!

Okay, PHOTOS!

Waiwan had to leave for work after all that, and Aixin left with her. ): Hence it's left with us. Raymond suggested to go Toys 'R' Us. I saw many capsule machines which I called it 'Zhuan zhuan' when I was younger. Elysia called that thing that too! Hahahaha!

You wouldn't believe what actually happened next.

As I turned around to the entrance, I saw 8 familiar faces staring at us. I was too shocked for the next 5 seconds before I could come back to my senses. Goodness me, they are my schoolmates! There were YongJie, Matthias, Daniel, ZaiYao, Reuben, Elton, KKC and TeckSiong! They were from Sentosa. Like of all the places in Singapore, we coincidentally bumped onto each other a Vivo City!

Elysia said, ' The world is becoming as small as a pineapple tart!'

Hence, some of us ended up talking in a circle......

We then split to different ways as the US wanted to walk around. Elysia and I went in to Forever 21 and were amazed by the range of shades available. Ha, we couldn't help but took pictures(:

We ended up buying accessorises!(: Poor Raymond had to wait outside the shops.
Oh, then Daniel called if we would like to leave together. Mrt-ed back, man I was rather tired. Walked home with YongJie. I think I had the best chat with him yet(:

Just Somethingelse for Someone :D :
It's like dancing on stage.
If you keep your energy level high throughout your performance, you will stand out.
Hence, the audience will be watching you.

Same logic(:

OHMAN!

I haven't been blogging ever since the New year. I think I've started to get hooked with facebook. To think facebook was stupid at first. Ha! With the CNY coming up in about 24 hours, there are still much stuff to do. Sadly, I am not very helpful around the house. :D

It has been quite a good start of 2009. I got my O Level results, and thankfully I did quite okay. Well, at least I've improved much(: I've applied myself to Yishun JC and will be looking very much forward to the start of my JC year. I'll be schoolmates with Elysia, Yinxiu and Zhengrui from church, and many of my best friends and good friends from school. This certainly sounds exciting!

Ha! One thing is that I'll still be dancing! &forever will. My entry to Dance Ministry in church is still pending(I guess). I'll still need to audition to get in. I did quite a few auditions before during my dancing years for competitions or performances. However, this time would be different, I may have to choreograph my own routine! This is something I'm not very strong at. Ohwell, I'll have my way through, cos God will definitely guide me((:

Hanging out and spending time with D4/D40 is always very rewarding. In this holiday, I attended Church services regularly and even started follow up already! I love fun-loving people.
& I love D4!

I went to Matthias' birthday party last Sunday at his house. It was a really nice party and I realised how close his family members were. Such heart-warming atmosphere could only be enjoyed by the privileged ones. We all had fun in Truth or Dare, at least I enjoyed laughing(: Oh Amos and Matthias! Tsktsktsk!:D

The graduated councillors went to Ms Soo's house on Friday! I had much fun in the swimming pool. Oh, as I was at the 1.5 deep pool, suddenly I felt someone pulling my swimsuit at the back. I got shocked and turned around to see this 4 year old girl seemingly to be enjoy pulling it. I thought she had mistaken me for someone else. But it turned out that it wasn't. She was looking for new friends((: I was like, 'Whoa! what a way to meet new friends!' I guess I have left the pool too long and was rather outdated to these salutations. She such a darling by the way. Her name is Rayann(: Ha! Guess this was the spelling of her name. Ohyeah, there was Ms Soo's niece, Claudia. She's quite a nice girl to hangout with. Hope to see both of them soon!(:

Oh please, forget him already!
Such a loser.

Mirr: YO! Haha! It's okay!!(((;
MiNg GuI~!:HEYO!!:D

It's my little brother's first day of school, and I think he's really excited, though he remains cool on his face. Ha!

I went back to my old primary school, where my brother is schooling at right now. It's been 2 years since I last went back. As I stepped into that 'finally enlarged' green school gate, familiar scents of the oldies were drawn close. A place where not much memories were kept in my mind, yet it felt nice to be back once again. The stall holders remembered me well as I greeted them. I told them how much I missed their food, and at time same time reminded myself how cheap and delicious it was. They were amazed to find out that I'm collecting my O Level result very soon because they came upon to realise how fast time must have been.

As I saw parents brought their precious daughter/son to the stairs where it would lead to the hall, many of the kids couldn't bear to leave that comfort zone. Just then, I saw some fathers here as well. This gave me an idea.

I'm going to pledge myself:
I, Jessica Lek, will drag my husband along, to my daughter's/son's first day of primary school. Therefore, no matter how busy we are going to be, we will still attend.

Okay, it sounds a little lame. But still I'm going to fulfill that promise, in ... perhaps 17 years' time? (:

Before I end off, I have to remind myself that my brother is soooo charming that he is always surrounded by girls, 24/7.

New Year's Eve:

Head down to marina bay for the countdown with family. I regretted a little for initiating it. Ha! Cos I would like to go to the church instead. OHWELL! Next year then.

I went for lunch with some of the D4 and Fifi at Pepperlunch in AMK Hub(:

weitao... : YO! thanks for visiting!

I had a really great time worshipping God with these nice bunch of Orchid Park - HOGC people. We were at prata house/place after visiting Kenn's house. Though I've graduated, looking at these juniors being radical for God and a goal of having 35 OPSS people in Heart of God church, I felt happy and supportive for them. I pray that more OP juniors will be willing to know more about Jesus and hence start to visiting church. I'll be looking forward to meet these people. (:

Amen!

I always wondered if I would bump into any of my schoolmates when I walk down on the streets one day. It's difficult when Singapore is THAT big. However, I was really surprise when Waiwan and Saimun saw each other in Hongkong! Okay, that's beside the point.

Finally today, 30th Dec 2008, 2nd last day before the new year, I bumped into several people! Church friends, councillor, old schoolmate, and even classmate! I saw Jiaen in Sunplaza but we were a storey away so didn't manage to say hi.

Something amazing happened! I was able to do A.math questions! I went to Yishun library and saw a fellow church mate. She was having a little problem with her holiday homework. I tried to help with my semi-forgotten knowledge for logarithms. I was like Oh God! when I had to re-do due to my mistakes. Amazingly, I was able to do it in the end! YAY!

OH GOD! I want that genius-ly beautiful GREEN bible! BADLY!
